Interfaith Dialogue in Kiel: Workshop on Tolerance at Kiel University
On 3 November 2025, an interfaith workshop on tolerance was held at Christian Albrecht University in Kiel. The meeting was organized by the Forschungsstelle Toleranz (KFT) at the Chair of Social Psychology and Political Psychology in cooperation with BaFID. The workshop was designed and conducted by Dr. Christoph Daniel Schaefer, project manager at KFT, together with Jan Gehm, BaFID contact person in Kiel.
The aim of the event was to bring together representatives from Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities in Schleswig-Holstein and to promote tolerance between religions. In an open exchange, the participants discussed religious perspectives and shared values—particularly with regard to mutual tolerance and understanding. The workshop provided space for personal encounters, critical questions and constructive discussions.
