What are Interreligious Discourses? – Lecture series 2021
Bayerisches Interreligiöses Kolleg in the summer semester 2021—What are interreligious discourses?
The central question of the first Bavarian Interreligious College in the summer semester of 2021 was: What are interreligious discourses? 10 lecturers from different academic disciplines approached this question from their respective specialist perspectives. These included, for example, Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox theology, Jewish studies, and Islamic studies. The individual contributions were divided into two parts: The first section discussed fundamental questions of theory. In the second part, individual topics such as the concept of truth, history, or scripture in the three monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam were discussed. A practical lecture from the Nuremberg area rounded off the series.
