One-day seminar on ecumenism, history, and current significance
Eastern Christianity has become more prominent in German-speaking countries in recent years – on the one hand through reports on current events in the Middle East, and on the other through migration. It therefore seems helpful to examine the history, diversity, current significance, and ecumenical and interreligious activities of Eastern churches.
This one-day seminar invites you to do just that. To enable all participants to actively contribute to the workshop, they are asked to bring a mobile device with which they can connect to the internet..
Head: Dr. Christian Lange, Senior Academic Advisor, Deputy Director of the Bavarian Research Center for Interreligious Discourse (BaFID)
