Bavarian Interreligious Kolleg in the Summer Semester 2022: Ideas of Paradise in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam
In the 2022 summer semester, the individual lectures focused on a specific question—namely, the challenge of how people imagined paradise. 8 academics tackled this question. The first block dealt with ideas of paradise in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The second focused on ideas of paradise in art and culture. The third focused on ideas of paradise in political categories.

At the start of the BaFID’s lecture series “Bavarian Interreligious Kolleg” (BIK) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in the summer semester of 2022, Prof. Dr. Daniel Krochmalnik (School of Jewish Theology, University of Potsdam) gave a lecture on ideas of paradise in Judaism.
