Interreligious Calendar 2026

Since 2023, BaFID has published an interfaith calendar in printed form.
The current issue for the year 2026, entitled „Religiös unterwegs in der Region“ invites you to explore faith in our region and can now be ordered via email to bafid@fau.de.

The third edition of the Interreligious Calendar 2026 highlights the most important Jewish, Christian, and Muslim holidays of the year and comes from the Bavarian Research Center for Interreligious Discourse (BaFID) at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. For each month, a festival and its interreligious significance are explained to promote dialogue and mutual understanding. The images in the calendar, which come from museums and libraries in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, reflect the vibrancy of religious coexistence and the cultural richness of our shared heritage.
